Senegal Airlines enters Cape Verdean market 06 Outubro 2011

Senegal Airlines, which began activities in January of 2011 with four aircrafts (three Airbuses and one ATR), will officially enter the Cape Verdean market on Thursday, October 6, with a promotional campaign that will last until December 31.

The airline, which makes connections to West and Central Africa with frequent flights to Abidjan, Bamako, Banjul, Conakry, Cotonou, Douala, Libreville, Niamey, Ouagadougou and Ziguinchor, will connect Praia and Dakar five times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The airline will also provide direct connections to Bissau on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays. The cost of the Praia-Dakar-Praia and Praia-Bissau-Praia flights range between 32,900 and 37,150 escudos, taxes included.

Senegal Airlines is the result of a partnership between the State of Senegal and private sector. The company also has technical and strategic partnership with Airbus and Emirates Airways.
