The Economic Regulation Agency (ARE) has decided to reduce the price of diesel fuel sooner than originally announced. ARE president Renato Lima had previously told A Semana Online that fuel prices would be brought down on January 20, but the current favorable economic outlook permitted the Agency to put the price reduction into effect before the scheduled date.
The president of the ARE justifies this reduction in diesel prices with the favorable international scenario.
