National Statistics Council to be sworn in 08 February 2010
The National Statistics Council will be sworn in at noon Monday, February 8, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finances and Public Administration. The council will orient and coordinate the National Statistics System and set guidelines for statistics-related activities.
In the government’s view, the National Statistics Council is fundamental in the proper functioning of the National Statistics System, as it coordinates methodology by approving concepts, definitions, nomenclatures and other technical coordination tools.
