Joceline Rocha represents Cape Verde today in Miss World 30 October 2010
Miss Cape Verde, Joceline Fortes Rocha, will participate today, October 30, in the 2010 Miss World pageant, which takes place in the Chinese city of Sanya. This 60th edition of Miss World marks the first time Cape Verde will participate in the event.
Kaiane Aldorino, from Gibraltar, who was elected Miss World 2009, will crown her successor. One of the contenders for the title is Cape Verde’s own Miss, 22-year-old Joceline Fortes Rocha.

According to her biography, she is currently in her second year of journalism studies and works in public relations. Reading, swimming and theater are her hobbies, and her motto in life is “Be Happy.”
Miss Cape Verde, who hopes one day to be the director of a publication and study Political Science, calls her native land “a small but truly good country with friendly people.”
