Cape Verdean marines carry out tests with French troops 06 March 2012
Cape Verdean military personnel participated last weekend in an exercise alongside the French infantry. The tests were carried out at the Morro Branco Military Instruction Center on the island of São Vicente.
A total of 45 officials participated in the activities that began on Friday, March 2, with instruction son personal defense techniques and first aid in combat situations. The project, which is aimed at assisting Cape Verde in its fight against international drug trafficking, arose following a request from Cape Verdean authorities, and took place during a stopover by French military ship Siroco on the island of São Vicente.
